TenoHep 300 mg Tablet contains Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (TDF) 300 mg, a well-established antiviral medicine used in the management of HIV-1 infection and chronic hepatitis B (HBV). It belongs to the class of nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs) and is prescribed as part of combination therapy under medical supervision.
TenoHep helps suppress viral replication, reduce viral load, and slow disease progression, supporting long-term clinical outcomes when taken consistently as directed.

Mechanism of Action
Tenofovir inhibits viral reverse transcriptase, an enzyme essential for viral DNA synthesis. By blocking this step, it prevents the virus from multiplying inside host cells, thereby lowering viral load and limiting liver damage in HBV.
Dosage & Administration
Usually taken once daily, with or without food
Dose adjustments may be required in renal impairment

Precautions
Monitor kidney function and bone mineral density during long-term use
Use with caution in patients with renal disease
