Manufactured by FDC Ltd, this product contains: Gentamicin (0.3% w/v): An antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, preventing the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Dexamethasone (0.1% w/v): A corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, alleviating symptoms such as redness, swelling, and itching.​ 🧪 Uses Pyricort Eye/Ear Drops are prescribed for:​ Treating bacterial infections in the eyes or ears. Relieving symptoms like pain, swelling, redness, itching, or irritation associated with such infections.​ 💧 How to Use For Eye Infections: Wash your hands thoroughly. Shake the bottle well before use. Tilt your head back, look upward, and gently pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Place the prescribed number of drops into the pocket without touching the dropper tip to any surface. Close your eye and press gently on the inner corner (near the nose) for about 1–2 minutes to prevent the liquid from draining away. Wipe away any excess liquid.​ For Ear Infections: Lie on your side with the affected ear facing up. Shake the bottle well before use. Place the prescribed number of drops into the ear canal. Remain lying down for a few minutes to allow the medication to reach the infection site.
