🧪 Composition

Active Ingredient: Dorzolamide 2% w/v​

Dorzox Eye Drop is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor manufactured by Cipla Ltd. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humor (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering increased intraocular pressure. ​

Dorzox Eye Drop is primarily used to:​

Lower intraocular pressure in conditions such as:

Open-angle glaucoma

Ocular hypertension​

By reducing the production of fluid in the eye, Dorzox helps to prevent damage to the optic nerve and loss of vision associated with elevated eye pressure. ​

💊 Dosage and Administration

Recommended Dosage: Instill one drop of Dorzox into the affected eye(s) 2–3 times daily, or as prescribed by your healthcare provider. ​

Application Tips:

Wash your hands thoroughly before use.

Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.

Place the prescribed number of drops into the pocket without touching the dropper tip to your eye or any surface.

Close your eyes gently and keep them closed for 1–2 minutes.

Wipe away any excess liquid with a clean tissue.​

⚠️ Side Effects

Common side effects may include:​

Burning or stinging sensation in the eyes

Bitter taste

Blurred vision

Redness or itching of the eyes

Sensitivity to light

Headache
