Active Ingredient: Darbepoetin alfa (60 mcg)
Primary Uses:
Anemia due to Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD):
Actorise helps treat anemia in patients with CKD by stimulating the production of red blood cells.
Anemia from Chemotherapy:
It is also used to treat anemia in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, where red blood cell production is often reduced.
How It Works:
Actorise contains darbepoetin alfa, a lab-made version of a natural hormone called erythropoietin. It signals the bone marrow to produce more red blood cells, helping to improve oxygen levels in the body and reduce fatigue caused by anemia.
