Nitib 140 mg Capsule contains ibrutinib, a Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of certain types of blood cancers.
As directed by your physician, take the Nitib 140mg Capsule; the amount of time you take it depends on how well you respond to the medication. Because it can lower blood cell counts and raise the risk of infections, routine blood tests could be necessary. Nausea, diarrhea, and headaches are typical side effects.

Mechanism of Action:
Bruton's Tyrosine Kinase (BTK), a protein essential to B cell survival and proliferation, is inhibited by imatinib. Ibrutinib stops B cells from getting survival signals by blocking BTK, which causes B cells to die and slows the growth of cancer cells.
Uses:
- Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
- Mantle Cell Lymphoma
- Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia
- Marginal Zone Lymphoma
- Chronic Graft vs Host Disease: A condition where the immune cells in transplanted bone marrow attack the recipient's body.
Dosage and Administration:
Depending on the type of cancer being treated, different ibrutinib dosages may be required. taken orally, at the same time every day, once a day. Take a glass of water and swallow the capsules whole. Avoid chewing or crushing the capsules.
How to use this medication?
Take this medication orally, without crushing or chewing, at the same time every day with water. When your care team advises you to stop taking a medicine because of adverse effects or adjust the dosage, do as directed.
Avoid consuming grapefruit juice or Seville oranges while taking this medication.
Discuss the usage of this drug in children with your care team. Precautions do apply, even though it can be administered to infants as young as one year old for specific conditions.
Overdosage: Contact an emergency department or poison control center right away if you believe you may have taken too much of this medication.
