Symptoms include itching, pain, and discharge from the ear canal. 🔹 How It Works Fluconazole is an antifungal agent that works by inhibiting the fungal enzyme lanosterol 14α-demethylase, which is involved in the synthesis of ergosterol, an essential component of the fungal cell membrane.
